Australians Now Have Their Health Information At Their Fingertips

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA – The first consumer app to empower people with their own health information has launched, connecting people to their health and wellbeing through a suite of services in a single secure application.

Wanngi is a revolutionary new mobile web app that allows people to create their own personal health record, track symptoms and injuries, and manage meaningful fitness goals through wearables like Fitbit.

Founder and CEO Maree Beare says Wanngi is the innovative new way for people to understand their health information and communicate it to their coach, doctor or trainer.

“We built Wanngi for Australians who feel disconnected from their health,” Ms. Beare said.

One of Wanngi’s most exciting features is Symptoms Management, which allows members to record detailed information about injuries & symptoms.

“Members can log symptoms and injuries, and by visually displaying these results on a timeline they can easily communicate sensitive issues to their doctor,” Ms Beare said.

“Wanngi allows consumers to access the information they want in a language they understand.”

Lead Software Engineer Liam Fitzgerald says strong security and privacy is Wanngi’s top priority, and the app has been designed from the ground up to ensure members’ data is safe and secure.

“Our high-level encryption means your data is as safe as possible,” Mr Fitzgerald said.

“We are perfectionists with our security; we go above and beyond the Australian Federal Government’s security guidelines,” he said.

Wanngi will soon be able to provide secure access to view My Health Record, which gives individuals the ability to review doctor and hospital visits, pathology reports, diagnostic imaging reports, and much more.
