What are Wanngi Activities?
Wanngi is a web app designed to help you regain control of your health information, by creating a private alternative where you can build a personal health record.
In Wanngi you can also connect to your wearables so you can track your fitness data, as well as set and achieve your goals. However, there is now an option for everyone to use, even if you don’t have access to Fitbit, Strava or Garmin activities tracker: Wanngi Activities!
For those who want to utilise the fitness tracking side of Wanngi without having to purchase a wearable, Wanngi Activities is perfect for you. In the app you can add the Activities service to get access to everything you need to record your fitness data. Select from a choice of sports and workouts, add the date and duration as well as calories burned or any notes if you need to, and then set goals to stay consistent!
What activities are included?
Wanngi Activities contains almost every sport and workout you could think of. Some of our most popular choices include:
- Walking and steps
- Water intake
- Weight tracking
And so much more!
How to add this feature to your account
If you’re already using Wanngi and have less than two services, you can simply add Wanngi Activities as a new service. If you are yet to create an account, sign up here, or get access to a free trial where you can also unlock premium services.
If you already have two services added and are not a Primary+ member, you will need to upgrade to access Wanngi Activities, or remove one of your services.
Once you are inside Wanngi, you can either go to the Services page from the right-hand menu or select ‘connect more’ at the bottom of your home page. Simply click Wanngi Activities to add it to your connected services!
Then to access, view and add activities anytime, just click on ‘Activities’ on the homepage –
Once inside Activities, you can view all your previous workouts and add more with the + icon on the top right corner.
To add a sport or workout:
- Select from our most popular activities with the icons along the top, or select another from our extensive dropdown menu.
- Record the date, and start and finish time of your activity.
- As an option, you can record calories burned during the activity.
- Our most popular activities can be recorded in more detail. For example, running and walking allows you to set the distance, pace and/or elevation where applicable.
- Add any relevant notes.
As an example, I use this service to record how much sleep I’m getting every night, and how much water I’ve been drinking. In my sleep notes I always make sure to write how many hours I’ve had in total. I also note if I haven’t slept well, so I can track any patterns that are forming.
